Academy of journalism and media
AJM - Academy of Journalism and Media - is a Swiss-leading education and research centre for media management and new media technologies. The Academy has a clear mission: the education of young journalists and the continuing education of experienced journalists and professionals in the media sector.
Thanks to cutting edge, inter-disciplinary research in journalism and new media technologies courses of study are continually being adjusted to meet the needs of international media professions.
Since it was established in 2008, AJM has been supported by the main Swiss french media companies, its management in parternship with the Centre Romande de Formation de Journalistes (CRFJ) contributes to AJM international recognition.

Objectives
Meeting skill requirements of media firms, with reference to their journalists and managers, thanks to an innovative education and training.
Two major changes revolutionize the training and educational needs of professionals in the media sector:- the extremely rapid development of technologies;

quality requirements that continue to strengthen with an increasing competition, requiring a change in managerial skills of journalists and managers.
Currently, there is no institution which meets all of these new needs. With its innovative and unique educational and training program,
AJM wants to fill that gap.

- A Master program designed for future senior journalists and media business executives and includes the acquisition of knowledge in the field of management and technology .

Pourquoi un atelier radiophonique ?
Après la création d'un Master en journalisme par l'Université de Neuchâtel, l'Union des Radios Régionales Romandes (RRR) et la Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS) se sont associées à l'Académie du Journalisme et des Médias (AJM) afin de mettre sur pied un atelier annuel sur l'avenir du média radio.
L'objectif est de permettre à tous les professionnels de la radio de se rencontrer une fois par an afin de débattre des thèmes actuels et spécifiques de la branche. La présence d'intervenants de différents pays offre également un regard critique et enrichit la réflexion.
